Hunting with Powers Guide Service
A typical
day begins with a hearty breakfast and plenty of black coffee. Once you're
fueled up for the morning, you can relax in the lodge or hit the sporting
clays course for some shooting warm-up. We'll hit the fields at 10am,
driving out the roosters by pushing and blocking along CRP, timber,
sloughs,
and corn rows. You'll travel to and from the fields in our hunting
vehicles.
 Each hunt is
customized so parties and individuals can hunt at their own pace. You will
be amazed at the number of pheasants in the fields. Our dedicated guides
work with top-notch dogs. You're always welcome to bring your own
well-trained dogs.
At mid-day
we'll break for a hearty lunch. Our variety of home cooked meals are
sure to please everyone. After the lunch break, its back to the fields
to finish up that limit. Once all hunters are limited, you'll head
back to the lodge. We take care of cleaning, packaging, and
freezing
the pheasants for transport, while you spend the rest of the day relaxing,
talking about the hunt, swimming, dining, or enjoying your favorite
cocktail.
Early
morning Coyote and afternoon Prairie Dog hunting add-on trips are available.

Information:
- 50% deposit per hunting
guest reserves your space at the lodge (Deposits are absolutely
nonrefundable. If fewer hunters arrive, the remainder of the
deposit will not be applied as payment toward your final bill.)
- SD Sales Tax will be
added to the total bill (2000 rate was 5%)
- Guide and staff
